What does a Campbellfield warehouse contract usually cover?
Crib rooms and lunch rooms, toilets, urinals, basins and showers, change rooms and lockers, the site or dispatch office, the entry and visitor toilet, and then the floor by zone. Amenities carry most of the hours. The warehouse floor is usually swept as the recurring task and machine scrubbed as a periodic on a quarterly or half yearly cycle.
Why do you count fixtures instead of measuring the building?
Because floor area predicts almost nothing here. Two identical sheds on the same street can differ by a factor of three in labour hours depending on how many people work in them and what facilities they use. We count toilets, urinals, basins, showers, lockers, crib rooms and offices at the inspection, and the quote shows each of them separately.
Can you clean around forklift traffic and a running shift?
Yes. We complete your site induction before the first shift, work in hi-vis with whatever protective equipment your site requires, and our cleaners are briefed on forklift routes, pedestrian paths and exclusion zones. Attendance is timed around dispatch or shift change, and any wet floor near a traffic route is signed and cordoned.
We are a food manufacturer. Can you meet our hygiene audit requirements?
That is exactly the kind of site where our documentation earns its cost. You get a chemical register with a current safety data sheet for every product we bring in, held on your site rather than in our office, colour coded equipment separation with the chart on the cupboard wall, a dated scope listing each task and its frequency, and a monthly scored inspection. Those are the documents an auditor asks for.
We are handing a building back. Do you do make good cleans?
Yes, at $74 an hour plus GST or as a fixed job price once we have seen it. Floor swept and scrubbed including under racking, racking and services high dusted, roller doors and dock levellers, the office fit-out cleaned through, and amenities stripped and detailed. What we will not do is quote repair items on your make good schedule as if they were cleaning. We will tell you which ones are a builder's job.
How quickly can you start?
For a recurring contract, usually two to three weeks from the inspection, because we want the scope agreed, cleaners assigned by name and the induction completed first. For a make good or fit-out clean with a hard handover date, tell us the date at the first call and we will give you a straight answer about whether we can hold it.
Do you cover Somerton as well?
Yes. The estate runs continuously from Campbellfield into Somerton and there is no travel charge across either. We also cover Thomastown and Epping industrial, and operators holding buildings in more than one of them are quoted as a single agreement with a separate scope per address.
